Professional Finish Work

The details matter. When it's time to install devices, mount fixtures, and make final connections, we bring the same care to trim-out that we put into rough-in — clean lines, tight fits, and zero shortcuts.

What is electrical finish work?

Finish work — sometimes called "trim-out" — is the final phase of an electrical project. It's when outlets get their cover plates, switches get installed, fixtures get hung, and everything gets tested and verified. It's also the phase that homeowners see and live with every day, which is why the quality of finish work matters just as much as what's behind the walls.

Whether we're completing a project we started at rough-in, stepping in after another contractor, or doing standalone install work, the standard is the same: level devices, flush plates, clean connections, and a worksite that's spotless when we leave.

Finish work services

  • Device installation — Outlets, switches, dimmers, and smart controls installed level and flush.
  • Fixture hanging — Chandeliers, pendants, vanity lights, recessed trims, and exterior lights properly mounted and wired.
  • Cover plate installation — Matched plates installed neatly with consistent screw alignment.
  • Ceiling fan installation — Proper box support, balanced mounting, and remote or wall-switch control setup.
  • Appliance connections — Final hookup for ranges, dryers, dishwashers, and other hardwired or plug-in appliances.
  • Panel labeling & cleanup — Clearly labeled breakers and a tidy panel that makes future work easier.
  • Final testing & walkthrough — Every circuit tested, every device verified, and a walkthrough with the homeowner.

Why finish quality varies — and why ours doesn't

Finish work is where you see the difference between an electrician who cares and one who's rushing to the next job. Crooked outlets, misaligned plates, dangling fixtures, and unlabeled panels are all signs of hurried trim-out. We take the time to do it right because this is the work you look at every day.

Sam was trained by his father-in-law — a licensed electrical contractor with 30+ years in the Treasure Valley — who instilled a simple rule: leave every job looking like you'd be proud to put your name on it. That's still how we work.

Remodel & new construction finish

If you're working with a general contractor or finishing a remodel yourself, we can handle the electrical trim-out. We coordinate with other trades, work on your schedule, and deliver clean results that won't hold up your project. Whether it's a bathroom refresh, a kitchen gut-job, or a new addition, the finish work will be done right.
